Justin Cooke is the inventor, founder and CEO of Tunepics, the social network launched in May 2014.
Invented by Justin Cooke and designed and made in the United Kingdom, Tunepics is the first mobile social network of its kind. It allows users to feature a song with every picture that they share, enabling them to perfectly capture the emotions behind the moments in their lives. Conversation on Tunepics centres around music, pictures and emotion: users can also express how they feel about each ‘tunepic’ by using the ‘emotion wheel’, showing if they are, for example, ‘happy’, ‘inspired’, ‘dancing’ to a tunepic.
Notable users on Tunepics include will.i.am, Jamie Oliver, Paul Smith, Chloe, Kate Bosworth, British GQ, Hypebeast, MTV UK, Richard Branson, James Blunt, Stephen Fry, Kaiser Chiefs, Scouting for Girls, Chrissie Hynde and many more.
The launch of Tunepics was preceded by the founding of innovate7 in September 2013; a new business model built around creating technology, merging emotional intelligence and design-led strategy to transform and evolve global brands. Innovate7 has partnered with some of the world’s leading companies including Airbnb, Adidas, Paul Smith, Chelsea Football Club, The British Fashion Council, ASOS, University Arts London and will.i.am, to understand their heritage and define the future. The innovate7 team hails from the world’s progressive thinking brands including Nike, Red Bull, Apple, Burberry and Facebook.
Justin is a professional public speaker giving talks worldwide at companies like Google,
Airbnb, Virgin, Nike, L’Oreal, Facebook and ASOS; and media conferences for the likes of The Guardian, New York Times, WWD, Cannes
Lions and many more. Cooke is also an advisory board member to a number of brands and start up companies.
